Done a few miles in these now: www.decathlon.co.uk/road-5-mens-road-cycling-shoes-white-black-id_8243683.htmlThese are my first pair of "proper" road shoes as I had SPD touring style shoes before (Shimano)....and I have to say, I'm very impressed. Obviously at Β£45, they're not going to have carbon soles or anything, but the sole is stiff enough for an amateur like me to not notice. They are extremely light and very, very comfortable. They have quite a wide fit, so your feet don't feel cramped. Obviously a ratchet buckle or something would be ideal for the top, but you can still get them done up pretty tight. Oh and they also look awesome Anyone looking for a good quality, light first shoe or second pair of shoes to have when you're not in your "Sunday Best", look no further!
