I've been looking everywhere, but can't find what I'm sure I've seen here somewhere....
I'm sure someone posted a link at some time in the past to some software that enables you to create a random route with almost one click ie It gives you an option to pick a point, set a distance then click a button to create a route.
Ive been looking at biketoaster, ridewithgps, garmin, bikehike and its none of them.
Does anyone know what I'm on about?

www.bikehike.co.uk for me as really like fact you can show elevation chart and gradient. Doesn't do random route though.

If you want random an option with the Garmin 200 (and maybe others) is to head out to nowhere in particular and when you're half way there select back to start which will guide you home on the same route in reverse.

I thought this was just a feature on the pricer Garmins Paulinblack?
I've not heard of a website doing it (although it would be a good feature) but better Garmins than mine give you 3 routes from your point after you tell it how far you want to go.
I currently plot my route on Strava and after saving it there i also export the route to bikehike to get a good idea of the gradients. I dont like creating routes on bike hike as its controls are a bit frustrating.

As bennettkaru says, plotaroute.com does it. I haven't worked out how you can amend it if you don't like bits of it though.
