Been commuting 4 days a week for the last month or so and the last few days I have had very sore hips. Not whilst cycling but later on. Particular if I'm sat down.
Anyone experienced similar or have any suggestions in regards causes of this?
Cheers
Marc

Get somebody to watch you pedal. Do your hips rock? Saddle too high. Getting old?

Hmmm not sure. Only 35 so hopefully it's not that.
Its only been since I've been commuting on mountain bike I've noticed it. It's a cheap heavy bike so I wa hitting it down to that. I'll adjust the saddle and see if it makes a difference.

Saddle too wide? My wife's "ladies saddle" really doesn't work for me with my narrow pelvis and I cycle on it slightly bow legged.
If your saddle is too low it'll also make you cycle bow legged.

Could be. It was v cheap bike bought just to go up and down the cycle track on the island with the little one on a tag along. Now I'm using it every day for commuting.
