Well, that's the weekend over and done with. Sad to say, my T3 has not turned a wheel! The weather has just been atrocious for the whole 2 days. Took the dog for a good walk this afternoon round a local reservoir up on the moors. Bleak is not the word! Strong winds, horizontal rain but a track I quite fancy doing on the MTB once the better weather makes an appearance so alls not too bad. Got back to the car and dog, owner and youngest were soaked to the skin, even in alleged weatherproof clothing. Yes, it was bracing, yes it was wet and cold. I knew for a fact that we'd had a good walk. Sitting here now, following a hot shower and having had a good feed it does feel like I've been out on the bike! Yep, come the better weather, the T3 will be unshackled from the turbo and back on the road for regular rides. Regular commutes will be the order of the day, perhaps both on the T3 and the MTB? Maybe 2015 will be the year some serious miles get racked up, hopefully! Waxing lyrical perhaps, but I do feel inspired, just wishing the weather would improve! Anyone give it the old rule 5, sorry, but I ain't listening!

It must be spring already surely. I was out on Saturday wearing bib-shorts for the first time in months! (then it snowed today )

Out on Saturday for a couple of hours running errands, but played safe and used the hybrid in case of icy patches. Wrapped up well (LJs and merino top) - actually got too warm at points. Thoroughly enjoyed myself :-)

No ride this Sunday gone. Was looking after the little'n for the morning and had considered going for a spin later on in the day until a large gathering of clouds formed and rained a shedload which kind of sapped my motivation. No Park Run on Saturday because they were holding a cross country race at the park. Managed a ride to work and back yesterday, but took the MTB commuter. I was set on taking Trillian (my T5) but bottled it with the weather. This morning left it until the last minute before deciding to go by pedal or petrol. Petrol won out due to the impending rain.
I really need a good run out to shake the cobwebs away. Bring on the better weather

No Ride since last Tuesday. Had a Fall on the Mountain bike. Suffered a Moderate Sprain so was told to rest for 7 days. Day 7 now and its still swollen and hurting. Vist the GP tomorrow as I think I've orn my meniscus also.
Hoping for some pain killers and get back to riding asap. May try a small ride (5 miles) later on this evening.
Weather looks pleasant this evening just a gusty westerly wind, so going to stay low level routes if I do go out.
