Saw this film with a few guys from my cycling club earlier in the year and we all really enjoyed it. Strangely we had far more sympathy for Pantani than we did for Lance Armstrong once we'd seen his film.

Watched it last night. As is often the case though, the book was much more insightful.

I know this is an old thread, but thought I'd save starting a new one. I was looking on Netflix for The Program, the Lance Armstrong movie and stumbled across this.
It a very interesting watch, so far it's very 'pro' Pantani but I've just reached the point were he's been suspended for a couple of weeks so I'm expecting it to get abit darker. There was an early section, just after he turns pro and his mother says that Pantani wants to quit pro cycling because 'it's a mafia'. She persuades him otherwise, the poor lady must have been beside herself in the later years.
If anyone is after more cycling related documentaries I found a couple more on Netflix, Clean Spirit and a different Lance Armstrong one, Stop At Nothing.
Has anyone else got any cycling related documentaries they'd recommend?

If it has "The Armstrong Lie"... its a documentary rather than acted like "The Program". Its also a LOT better.

Watched The Armstrong Lie which was very good and a docu is always going to be a lot better than a movie, just threw The Program in there for those that might be interested in watching it.

Wasn't having a go, just that The Armstrong Lie hadn't had a (deserved) mention yet.

'Clean Spirit' is also a decent watch on Netflix. It follows John Degenkolb and Marcel Kittel during the 2013 TDF.
