So shall we enter this one into thread of the year, it could be right up there among the best? Unless anyone can come up with anything more exciting last minute - @davefy7 's 'how to paint things grey and watching it dry' has potential for a last minute surge mind you? Thats mean it was a genuine serious question. Never had a bike with exposed cables before so didnt know if theyd scratch

I had similar stuff after some muppet parked uphill of me without their handbrake on and smashed up the back of my car (it held various stuff together enough to keep it drivable). But as Rad says, it's great as protective bike tape too, and that's its use now.
