I figure that what I lose in miles on the road this winter I can gain in flexibility and core body strength which will both be of benefit in the Spring.
I'm not a heavy lad but I'm quite tall so wind resistance is my biggest foe. Getting a (comfortably) lower position on the bike would be very helpful. Also, being able to maintain a good posture (especially on the drops) over an extended period of time will help no end.
Does anyone have any recommended resources for how to effectively increase flexibility and core strength?
