What do you use to clean your water bottles? Mine are normally okay as I drink water most of the time but sugary residue takes some shifting. Scanky..!!
I'm looking to buy a decent bottle brush and maybe use baking soda. Any other tricks of the trade? Baby sterilising stuff (Milton) or winemaker sterilising power (sodium metabisulphate)

I had a sugary one go mouldy. I used a very dilute household bleach, soaked for a while and then rinsed very very thoroughly! There's no residual taste and they're only cheap bidons too.

If got one - stick them in dishwasher If not - Just wash them up same as anything else in hot soapy water
Trick is not to leave them dirty post ride if had anything else but water in them!

I think I need a decent bottle brush. Washed my bottles out last night and one of them is a bit skanky today. Either that or stick to corporation pop.

I just stick mine in the dishwasher too. Any thoughts on how long it's ok to keep bidon for? Had mine for a year when I bought my t3

Dish washer or hot soapy water, i have see thru bottles and you will be surprised how much dirt gathers round the threads of both bottle top and neck of bottle, cotton buds do a good job of cleaning round both.

we are hippies and only use 3 eco cleaning products - white vinegar, bicab of soda, washing up liquid.
1) wash up = clean 2) spoon of vinegar and 1/2 fill with water - shake = disinfect 3) spoon of bicarb and fill with water - leave to soak - removes ALL smell - hell bicarb even gets rid of the smell of cat wee!
do this now and again - usually i just was em up tho
btw - you can get bicarb in bulk kilo bags and vinegar by the gallon - uber cheap. Chinese supermarkets <3
