Plan for tonight. Adding Coldharbour Lane, Barhatch Lane, Combe Lane As mentioned above all 3 climbs in the 2nd book. I have actually done Combe Lane before albeit the opposite way to the book.

Tick, tick, tick (now just need to wait until VV gets the 2nd book up on strava). Also added a loop of Box Hill and would have gone round again except my light went out.
Of the 6 ascents I did the last 2 rides, Box Hill is by far the easiest even if it is the most famous.

Next on the list, maybe Friday night. Blatant climb-bagging Ahoy!! Whiteleaf from the 1st book (and hence the VV list) Kingston Hill from the second book. Looks like there are plenty other routes up into the Chilterns from there too which aren't in either. btw Whiteleaf only has 59 people have climbed from the 100club so far, so easy bonus 40+ points available.

Also have another route organised from Hungerford including Combe Gibbot, Streatley and Red Dragon Lane. 111km distance for 1500m elevation gain. Hoping to do it this weekend sometime, but I think the missus is going to put the kibosh on it. Especially given estimated 5 hours riding, + 3 hours driving to/from.

just a 31k ride with 2 hills nice! - i had to do 90 to grab 2 on tuesday! well a) I am doing it at night, and b) have to drive an hour to get there. The missus has confirmed I can do my other cycle on Sunday afternoon/evening. I think she has forgotten the fact I am doing the Evans Sportive next weekend. Anyway she has a list of jobs for me to have completed on Saturday before giving me 100% permission.

Tick, Tick, Tick.
3 more 'named' climbs from the books done today in a 117km loop.
Got a bit confused when I got to Dragon Lane. Will have to check out tomorrow which route is the actual 'official 100 climbs'. Went up one way, asked some cyclist coming down 'is this Dragon Lane?' he replied non-commitedly 'yeaaahhh.....' as if there was a 'but' on the end. So I went up one way, descended and then went up again the other way. That killed me really, the 25kms back to the car was tough. (ETA ok, looks like the first way up is the 'proper' way up. Tbf it was the more difficult of the two. Obviously I screwed up when making the route on strava in the first place))
Will be giving the climbs a bit of a break now. I think 12 climbs in 9 days is enough for now (7 from the first book, 5 from the second book). Will go get the Kent ones some time later in the summer.
btw I am currently 83rd in the SE for the VV Leaderboard. Mainly because so few people have done Streatley Hill, Combe Gibbet. Eventually I will get knocked out of the top 100, because I am not fast in the climbs at all.

6 ascents of Box Hill last night. Amazing to think that only 6 months ago, I wouldn't have thought I could do one, and huffed and puffed my way up on my hybrid. Now I actually drive to BH to see how many ascents I can do and get the elevation for the current strava challenge. Crazy to see what other people do also: www.strava.com/challenges/tempest-box-hillsome bloke has done 110 ascents in 2.5 weeks on his way to doing 200. www.strava.com/challenges/strava-climbing-challengeone bloke at the top of the leaderboard on this was aiming to climb as high as everest (in one ride), but fell short Sheesh.
