Shimano RD-4601. Believe it's a GS (32T cog max, because I believe the SS is 25T max)

AFAIK, the max cog size is 32T on a double & 30T on a triple?

Think max sprocket 30T, doesn't matter if double or triple - but you may get away with 32 Smallest low sprocket 25T Short cage on T7 for compact, long cage needed for triple - but you can probably get away with it

Here is what I can find out about the Shimano RD-4601 Tiagra rear derailleurβ¦
There are 2 models the 4600. The SS and GS.
Spec from Shimano as follows:
Specifications Model Number RD-4600-GS Series TIAGRA Cassette Compatibility 10 Maximum Sprocket 14T Minimum Sprocket 11T Maximum Front Difference 22T Total Capacity 39T
Max low sprocket 30T Total capacity (SS34T.GS38T)
__
Specifications Model Number RD-4600-SS Series TIAGRA Cassette Compatibility 10 Maximum Sprocket 30T/15T Minimum Sprocket 25T/11T Maximum Front Difference 16T Total Capacity 34T
Max low sprocket 30T Total capacity (SS34T.GS38T)
__
I would conclude based on the Maximum front difference of teeth that:
The GS would be fitted to a bike with a triple chainset on the front (maximum of 52t big ring and 30t small ring) with a biggest cog on the cassette being 30t
The SS would therefore be fitted when the bike had a double chainring at the front (probably compact 50/43t) biggest cog on the cassette 30t.
Decathlon official spec has a 12-27 fitted...
Those are Shimano recommendations, I'm sure a 32t is possible with a longer chain. However for this Tech Spec section, could someone please confirm the model number actually fitted to the T7 and I will enter the fact of the part originally fitted into the database.
Thank you all for your contributions
Update:
GS is medium cage SS is short cage

Description from Evans Cycles seems to clear this up.
Offering pro-level features, the Shimano RD-4601 Tiagra 10 speed Rear Derailleur gives high performance at a low price. Advanced light action shifting for low-friction up and down the cassette, with a maximum capacities of 32 tooth sprocket on the GS derailleur and 30 tooth on the SS derailleur when using a double chainset.
The minimum capacity of both is 25 tooth sprocket and the GS derailleur is also compatible for use with a triple chainset. The Tiagra rear derailleur is built for you to get thousands of miles from it. With an alloy body and outer link leads to lower weight without compromising strength and durability. While Shimano uses a wide link design to increase rigidity and service life. Material: Alloy bodyβ Cable Pull: 11-tooth pulleys for reduced pulley wear and chain noise Extra Features: Two fluorine-coated link pin bushings for low-friction performance
