It's a functional speed machine with you sat on top of it, Roy.

Finally got round to taking a new picture after cleaning it and fitting RS11's Can't believe you took the photo of it propped up by the bins! I can !! The forks make a massive differance then Roy, wonder if a carbon seat post would make such a dramatic change for the rear.

Definitely worth investigating ukdaws. Some of the roads on yesterdays ride needed some form of suspension/dampening. Less weight too. I think those carbon forks made a massive improvement in my riding comfort.

The first time i rode my T5a it was exactly like having front suspension so made a very comfortable ride. Any body fitted a carbon seat post to replace a metal one? views would be welcome.

Got a carbon post on my Claud, there is a bit of road rumble reduction but it's a 7075 alu frame so pretty damn rigid Steel aero fork too which is not,as harsh as you'd expect If u are thinking of employing a seat post it wouldn't do any harm

I have fitted a Tifosi carbon post. It certainly makes for a smoother ride and looks a lot better too.
