Hi all, for all the Strava nuts out there like me, I've just installed the latest iOS version. The update promises to tell you how you performed in-ride just after you complete a segment, rather than having to wait until the end of the ride when you save and upload.
Cool!

Does this only apply to premium users?

If it was a one off fee of 3.99 or similar to go premium I would be all in.... Monthly seems pricey..... Shame as I am in dire need of segments out here in the sticks.

Yep, as Robert says, it costs nothing to make segments.
Β£4 a month is loads, Β£4 as a one off I would do. It's Β£40 a year otherwise... Mind you that's one month's Sky TV...

You only need the GPS on to record while you're out there... Upload through your wife* when home..... It doesn't cost you.

Go into one of yoir rides and click actions and you'll see the option for new segment then just follow instructions. Fairly simple. Can only create segments where you've ridden not just random places!
