Take care. Im not doing it, but some members of our club are.
By all accounts, getting through the tunnel at the start can be carnage, so try to get through ahead of the pack.
Also we were told on Monday that non of the entry fee goes to Claire House Children’s Hospice (the nominated charity) the only money going to charity is that which is raised through sponsorship. £6 is VAT, then costs and the rest is profit for Pennine Events. This is one of the reasons Im not doing it.
The other is Im up in the Lakes this weekend 8)

All the best, but reckon you should do it on the 'Chopper' ;-)

Now that's an idea
Raised £300 so far and looking forward to the day.
Thanks for the warning about the tunnel carnage.

Thanks for that. No we're Cheshire based. was tempted by the 100 route as the middle bit covers my patch but thought better of it and plumped for the 50. Looking forward to it and a good day out with my "teenage" lad.

Great day. Completed by myself and my 14 year old lad in 3 hrs 7 mins. Very hot but a great atmosphere. Saw 4 other T3s and one T7. One T3 with a puncture just after the half way point. Raised £340 for Claire House Childrens's Hospice.

Well done. Very good time.
I could have done it after all. our trip to the lakes was cancelled.
Did a club route with my Brother-in-law instead
