I went to see the bike racing earlier today in Woking. It was a really well run event with some junior races, local schools and kids clubs, a Freewheel ride. A womens race as well as the Men's race. Weather a bit wet to start with but it did brighten up for both the Women's and Men's races. Those boys and girls really get up some speed, and so fast round the corners. Very exciting to watch and a really friendly atmosphere. I took some photos, just with a compact camera, so not brilliant, but here they are: The MG MaxiFuel girls Hannah Barnes on her way to victory Kristian House Tom Scully in the Gold Jersey Ed Clancy Tom Scully followed by Yanto Barker Zeb

Your right Mr Hamster, it's Hannah Barnes. I didn't see the crash, it happened on a different part of the circuit than where I was. The general opinion from people there who seemed to know their stuff, was, she is head and shoulders above the other riders at the moment. I also watched the coverage on tv last night, and she came across as a level headed girl. Whilst watching the races I got talking to a chap and his daughter about the women's race, and his daughter had just competed in it as a junior. And she said that Hannah Barnes works as a Waitress in the evenings so she can afford to continue racing. Can't see the guys having to do things like that. Zeb
