I wear prescription glasses, and both my normal ones and sun glasses have a short lens in, so when riding I get quite severe neck pain after about an hour as I have to crane my neck up in order to look out of the glasses rather than over the top of them...
I am guessing that a combination of a higher angle stem and /or a reduction in the stem length may help with this, so that I ride in a more upright position..?
Does anyone know what the stem angle on a T3 is..? And has anyone overcome this by upping to either a 6 or 10 degree..? Do you think dropping to an 80 or 90 stem (from the 110 that's on my 60cm will help also..?
Any other suggestions / ideas greatly appreciated.

Obvious one but have you thought about contacts? I wear them for rides out as I don't think I could get used to glasses.

I wish I could but I've never been able to get on with contacts.. My eyes water as soon as I touch them, and I can never get the things in, so never have worn them..

Far be it from me giving out optom. advice but perhaps another go at learning to pop them in and then getting used to them. It takes your eyes a few hours, possibly days if you've not worn them for a while to adjust to the lack of oxygen. Even though I don't recommend contacts for longer term use, something which I unfortunately did for a few years, I would recommend them for any kind of sport. You need that unobstructed full vision view.

How complex is your prescription?
You could do what I did and pick up some cheap Chinese Oakly's (spelling mistake intentional) off Ebay that come with a prescription insert. Then head to Ciliary Blue to get the insert glazed.
My insert cost Β£54 to have glazed but thats for pretty heavy astigmatism correction. If you're less short sighted then the glazing starts at Β£14.

You need to go to the optician that does glasses for Denis Taylor the snooker player - his glasses are designed for looking up rather than horizontal. Theses guys are offering them - www.spectaclesblog.com/famous-four-eyes-dennis-taylor-snooker-spectacles/
