Help me out please, looking for a new saddle. Budget a £100 and not a penny more. What are the recommendations?

I seem to leaning towards getting a Prologo SCRATCH or Nago Evo Plus. What do you chaps say on these?

fizik arione at px for 80 reduced from 180 Notice that the Fizik saddles are very popular, is that what you are using? What is the saddle on the T7?

Charge spoon for me - put it on this weekend - 40 miles on Sunday and 30 today - Much improved from stock saddle. But to be honest getting advice about saddles is not worth much as everyone is different. What I find comfy, you may hate and vice versa. Just gotta try different ones.

Prologo Nago Evo. I have one on my Focus, and one to be fitted onto my T7. Mine has Ti rails. amazing level of comfort.
That said, Im really impressed with the stock saddle on the T7a. Not done over 30 miles on it yet, but i've gotten close and see no reason to doubt the comfort level will change

Been suffering so looking around at saddles. So you like the Nago Evo? Thats semi-round aint? So would you use the Scratch? That's what I am thinking of.

No complaints with the stock T7 saddle as yet. But I haven't put in big miles yet.

The difference with saddles is that because everybody has a different body shape, not least the sit bones and their, eh... 'housing', recommendations really are irrelevant. It could get rather expensive if the new saddle you bought is just not right, or the next one, or the next, etc. It's a real Goldilocks and the Three Bears situation. Too narrow, too wide, too long, hurts me plums... ahhh, just right. But that may only be after quite a number of miles. And something that may not be great on first experience, could be absolutely perfect after a little bedding in.
Who's to know?
Trotter, your line "A friend of the father in-laws said he would lend me his bag of saddles today" made me laugh. Is there a phrase or saying in there somewhere? He's as ...... as a bag of saddles. I couldn't help thinking of 'mad as a box of frogs. Anyway, there should be something in the bag that fits just right.

Been suffering so looking around at saddles. So you like the Nago Evo? Thats semi-round aint? So would you use the Scratch? That's what I am thinking of. The Scratch is more rounded than the Nago. My Bontrager Inform RL is a bit more round, and a bit wider, and i hate it. Interestingly, the bonty was chosen based on my rear being measured, but the nago came with the bike. I've done rides of up to 66 miles on the Nago, the only problem i had that day was not enough chamois cream. I can barely get past 30 miles on the Bonty. The Stock T7 Saddle for me is great, the width is the same as the Nago, and although I've only done a max of 28 miles, ive done nearly 200 miles on it so far with no problems. I'm replacing it with a matching Nago but only because i managed to pick it up for a bargain £40

As people have already said saddles should really be tried before you purchase. I have a £20 charge spoon and I have no problems on long rides.. Dont think it will be great for you just cos its £100
