Saw some cycling stuff at my local Aldi this morning.
Jerseys, light waterproof jackets, ladies' compression under wear*, some tools, bike lube.
In the non cyccling stuff there were some nice sets of multi-tools, those things where all the bits fold into the handle. a set of three sets for Β£5, one screwdriver, one allen key, one torx.
*they are fuscia pink and look great on, and don't chafe at all, or so I'm told)

No Aldi in NI what a bummer looking for a light raincoat. Plus the son that lives in Preston is away to Amsterdam.

I think that might be old stock. This is the stuff they had on a few weeks ago. Post on HUKD
I bought the cycling shades and they've been excellent buy. Top marks on polarization. Blocks sunlight well but lets enough to see perfectly clearly, even at night. I also did buy the light waterproof jacket (if it's the one in my link). I used it the once 2 weeks ago and although very thin and has some holes, I'm not sure if I'll use it again. I was sweating buckets by the end of it. It trapped moisture like nothing because it's basically nylon material with no breathability. On the plus, it's nice bright color, easy to be seen and it folds up into tiny tiny pouch (attached to jacket itself). Actually if anyone has suggestion for bright, rain proof jacket for when summer ends, can you post link? Key requirement is that your kept some what dry under the jacket itself with some breathability. Few cyclist I've asked tell me such a jacket doesn't exist and it's better just to accept the rain
