During my time away from this board I treated myself to 2 new bikes. One B'Twin, one Planet X: My Rockrider 520. Didn't intend to get this originally, but my fiancΓ© treated himself and within a day of him having it home I was back at Decathlon to get my own My pride and joy: Planet X RTD 90 limited edition. Beautiful bike to look at and ride, just a pleasure being out on it. Just about done 1000 miles on it over the last year (999.4 to be exact I think), but hoping to get out on it a lot more over the next 12 months.

Like the matching on the colour schemes Steph . Though I suspect there's a dash of green there on the PX that's doesn't show up on the photo.

So there are more of those in circulation - never saw one on the street. This is an amazing bike. Is that Rival or Force on it? I have RTD-80 version and my only regret is that I did not upgrade the wheels to Visions back then. 10K Kms and still does not miss a beat. @paulinblack , if you are still looking for that perfect birthday gift, this one can easily replace both Mach and T5

Found myself thinking about wider tyres (and what 28mm is like), what weight the AFGF was, whether mechanical or hydraulic brakes are best, what SRAM was like, whether I should wait for the 500 AFGF rather than the 520 AFGF or whether there was better value for money elsewhere.

I love riding it. When I got it, they were doing a "special offer" as it was the limited edition model, and I got the carbon wheels for no extra cost. Β£1500 all in. At the time the standard RTD-90 was also Β£1500 (with standard wheels) so it was a no brainer really
