Just want to say hi and thank you.
Own a T5 black bought at the back end of last year and a T3 red bought a couple of months ago, both 2nd hand but both bargains. Got the T5 for Β£125 and if the bike computer is to be believed it had only been rode for roughly 300 miles, T3 cost me Β£102 and had only been rode once, I couldn't resist at those prices.
I've converted both to flat bars as drop bars don't do my wrists and shoulder any favours.
Both bikes developed a creak around the bottom bracket area T5 was chainring bolts needed nipping up but the T3 was a bit harder to cure, tried chainring, bottom bracket, bottle cage, seat post, cranks and pedals. Thought I'd cured it this morning but after an hour and a half in the saddle the creak returned. But I remembered reading a number of posts on here last night suggesting the clips either in the pedals or shoes so while riding I wiggled my feet a little and sure enough the creak would stop. So thank you to all those that have ever mentioned looking at the clips.
Cris.

Welcome to the site. Is the T3 an upper case (posh one) or lower case (not so posh one)

It's a t3 then, the posh (and best) one. T3a was less well specced. Still have a t3 in our stable and they are lovely bikes to ride, very well built

Here's a posh one bought new January 2013. The frame is about the only original bit left.
