I was just wondering what peoples preference of mug guards were for a road bike with no eyelits. I've read so many different reviews and there seems to be no end of mudguards, so it can be hard to choose! I'm curious as I've got a 700 AF and am wanting a full set of mudguards to protect it and me from the winter crud. It's got concealed eyelits on the inside of the form and frame but I'm not sure if these can be used as the hole is much smaller than a standard eyelit.

THe MK3 Cruds are rather good... though a dreadful surface rattled my "stickle-brick" connection apart yesterday.

I saw those axle runners, though a lot of the reviews said that they can be quite annoying if you need to take the wheel off as then the whole mudguards would come off too.
Has anyone ever used any of the concealed mudgaurd holes, the ones usually found on the inside of the fork of frame.
