Hi guys,
Does anyone else get plagued by adverts and pop-ups when viewing the forum on Chrome on Android? I realise there is Tapatalk and I also use that but generally I prefer the mobile view on Chrome as it's very easy to see the unread threads.
Anyway, Tapatalk is getting used 100% now as Chrome is unusable with the pop-ups and unwanted diversions to the Play Store from the adverts on the site.

Must admit I get a few too and some don't close so I have to exit Chrome and restart it. This only happens for desktop view. If I switch to mobile view then it has been fine so far. I'm also a member on another ProBoards forum and have the same problem so it it not just us being singled out

On a phone or tablet this will only filter wi-fi traffic so won't work for cellular data and it requires you to install software from an untrusted source.

That's interesting, it's something I sometimes struggle with and I think now it may be just when I'm using mobile data. I'm using Chrome but a while ago I installed Adblock browser as well in frustration but had forgotten 'til I just looked
