Fitted mine today. No problems getting tyres on without levers even though there are reports of problems due to rim tape being too wide. They spun freely and were reasonably true but I trimmed them anyway. I did have to reposition all my brake pads as they were not quite lined up with the braking surfaces and the rear derailleur needed a slight trim too. They are quite wide rims so will be nice with a 25 or 28mm tyre on. I put used 23's on but once the back is shot I will try a pair of 25's. First ride and there were a lot of pinging noises as the spokes settled in the rims but then all went quiet. A quick check showed the wheels were still true. Test ride tomorrow....

Update on my wheels. I've had to replace both the front and rear bearings after 6 weeks of use. This is not as bad as it seems as I have done 1,500 miles in this time in all the bad weather plus cleaned the bike after every ride. The good news is all 4 bearings cost less than Β£5 and are really simple to replace. The supplied bearings are Japanese and appear to have been filled with clear silicone grease so not exactly rubbish but water had got in, rusted things and the grease was a brown grinding paste.

Where did you get the bearings from Roy? Mine are OK so far but I haven't used them in the wet. One of the reviews on Wiggle said that the bearings were hard to source which is a bit of a worry. The front ones are vey small so I am not expecting ang longevity.

Your bearings will likely last for ever The rears are 6000-2RS and the fronts are 609-2RS all freely available from any bearing supplier or eBay which is where mine came from.
