Just a quick question,
Where do you stand with the 6 month free service if you have made alot of changes to your Triban?

Now that's a very good question. After all those changes will they honour the service? Arny5triban should beable to answer that one. I think they will. I have been shopping there for over two years now and I think they would.

Upgrades or not: the store should give you a 6 month service because what your doing by upgrading is showing respect for your bike. All they do is check the gears, brakes, wheels, and internal hubs and BB. Or from what i am aware... I aint allowed to go workshop so cant say exactly what is involved.

I'd have thought it was a 'service' regardless of what you've done to it, bearing in mind that you could take any marque in for a paid service.
On the same subject though, I have wondered about the warranty if you change lots of parts.

What about fitting a pannier rack? I vaguely recall reading the mini-CD which came with the bike saying not to fit one...

Does the service have to be within 6 months or is it at the 6 month point?
