Tonight I learned that the cassette on my triban 3 can be fully disassembled for cleaning.
As a regular cleaner of my bike and drivetrain I'm surprised I haven't noticed it before. There is a small Allen head bolt on back of cassette which when removed allows for a full strip down.
Excellent design.

I know. I was genuinely giddy with excitement. I called the wife into the garage and showed her.....she just didn't get it!

I did mine the other day when I cleaned and spray lubed the chain, didnt go anywhere near as far as that though, that would have involved wheel and cassette removal I took the lazy way out and just used an old tooth brush...
