Hi,
I want to clean my rear hub bearings out from heavy rainingress and further more have a desire to upgarde the wheelssoon.
However, I want the tool right now to do the cleaning, best options for me to get one quick are 1) Halfords or 2) Decathlon (otherwise I would have ordered from Chainreaction or the likes)
Could someone link me to which cassette tool I need. (ill be getting a chain whip too)
Thanks.Cheers in advance for the advice
EDIT: - What appear to be compatible on Halfords cannot be collected until Monday.
On Decathlon the following tool looks like what I need ? link
EDIT 2: - Forget about it...took the back wheel into Halfords at the weekend and got the tools i needed. Must say, despite the bike only being about 10 weeks old, the seat (or cone) where the bearings run in the wheel hub felt quite rough after I had cleaned it all out. I could also feel two spots on both sides of the hub where there seemed to be a crevice in the surface. Pitting I guess but very localised. Cant be bothered to argue the toss with Decathlon about a replacement cause Im just going to replace the pair of them with a set of Mavics soon.
