Aha you given me an idea ChrisD since I can't find 30" baggy, maybe I should look in the kid's dept. Heh most of the teens I teach are bigger than me, and I'll save on vat.

I've tried that, and generally they aren't long enough... and I'm shorter than you. I actually got a pair that's wearable in Tesco a few moths back - too big in the waist for me (so always have to have a belt), but they are 30" waist... so you would be ok. Also totally agree with your complaints a few posts back. I'm 63kg and 5'7, BMI 21.5, so right where I should be - I simply cannot but jeans that are even an approximation of fitting properly.

Made another attempt today. Went to the massive Saintsbury's in Croydon, no 30" at all. Also tried TK Max ( yes I'm getting desperate) had plenty 30s, but all fashionable ones that look like they are ready for the bin, have stupid pockets, and cost £40. I asked an assistant in M&S, while he was looking in vain the store manager happened to pass, and put the poor lad out of his misery. Apparently they no longer sell size 30" due to insufficient demand. But had plenty of 42"! River island £40 stupid fashion again. In next, I did get a voucher for a tenner off an online order in exchange for a fake email address.
You'd think I was on a quest for the golden fleece. Might just wear Lycra all the time.

I was rather cuffed last night. Going out for dinner with Mrs B69, I decided to smarten up (a bit) and put on the skinny jeans previously alluded to in this thread. To my joy they were nowhere near as tight as they were the last time I wore them.

Hallelujah. Success, and in spades. Shopping in Bromley with my mum, she suggests i try Sports Direct. Hate the place, but decided to try. They got loads, 30", comfort fit. After much climbing on ladders I get 2 pairs of Pierre Cardin. Perfect fit, lovely material - ticket says £8. With a big smile I go to pay. "That'll be £7.98 please."
"No, I want both pairs please"
"It is, they £3.99 each."
Wow! Unbelievable. Perfect jeans for little more than I paid for a shandy on my ride on Sunday.
