I was getting my summer bike ready yesterday and thought this would be a good idea for a thread. A bit like a how do you store yours..... I store inner tubes down to the right under the bench on a rack I built. Tyres hang from above along with outer cables and other bits. Gels and drink tabs are stored on the upper rear shelf with lights and bits under it. Both kids road bikes fit underneath. Either my winter or summer bike sit on top at the front in the groove between the slats when not in use. The picture came from my old work and was from the Olympics (it was actually used too) we made the metal barriers which lined the course and finish line. Let's see yours, I'm always looking for new ideas.

Very nice karma846Currently my bike lives on the landing, but have started work this week on building a bike / utility room. It is a very cold and damp single skin shed at the mo, into which we dumped random crap to slowly rot. Ive cleared it all out, and rebuilt a shed in the garden for all the stuff worth keeping. wall and doors removed. Next job is to water seal and insulate, put in water and electric. Gonna be busy.

Nothing that fancy or sophisticated for me. All bikes in the shed at ours, I have to climb over everyone elses bikes to get to mine. All work has to be done outside as there's no room in the shed. I'm actually quite jealous of the above :-)

Most of it is in there somewhere. (Not usually this bad, honest)

Looks like my garage did this weekend following a decorating fest coordinated by Mrs R. Thankfully got the chance to dump all the crap at the tip and normal service has been resumed in Chez Bicycle.

Looks promising erictherat. Should be a nice space when finished. How much you gonna lose with insulation?

Looks promising erictherat. Should be a nice space when finished. How much you gonna lose with insulation? Am using 1 piece insulated plasterboard (like kingspan) so only 62.5 mm of each wall. Gonna be right but I think I can hang bike along wall. If not then hanger like ona train

Not sure you would (be allowed) to forego the bike clean if you had one of those in the house.

I bought a 8ft x 8ft shed in November 2014 for my bikes and stands. Store cupboard with tools, lubes and cleaners. Triban parking and newly a acquired turbo trainer. Wilier GTR parking.
