Following on from my gloves thread I had considerably more success keeping my feet dry.
Tape the vents over on the bottom of your shoes. Put your shoes on. Put plastic bread bags over your shoes and fold them neatly behind your calves. Wrap ClingFilm around your legs so that it forms a seal to your calves and over the top of the bread bags. Put overshoes on to protect bread bags and ClingFilm. Any will do. Wear long trollies that go over the overshoes rather than those with loops that go inside your shoes.
After 4 hours solid rain in cold conditions my feet were still warm and dry save a little bit of sweat.

Am also a fan of plastic bags on my feet, tho I put silicone sealant in the vents. But just got some new overshoes which seem to be actually waterproof. (See what you've bought now thread if interested). Did hour today without bags and feet were dry.

I like gore windstoppers. Just bought second set after losing my first pair last year. Kept feet dry every time I wore them apart from rain that seeped in from running down leg/bib tights which I guess is unavoidable.
