Just tried refitting my guards after swapping to 25's this year and looks like its a 'no-no' as theres no room and the wheels rub like mad. Anyone else got that combo and managed to do it? Its just far too close under the calipers and no matter which way i try to manouver them the wheel dont spin.
Any comments on which guards will fit the T500 with 25's on it?
Thanks

Thanks Do you mean, crud roadracer 2? I have them fitted on a Triban 500, originally with 23 and for about four months 25s. They fit but have very little room left. I am not the only person with this set up. triban3owners.freeforums.net/thread/5053/triban-500

road.cc/content/review/50952-sks-raceblade-long-mudguardsUsed the above SKS on my T3 for a couple of years at least in conjunction with Conti Gatorskin 25's, no real problems. Cable tied butchered old guard to seat tube so as fill in the gap. No idea if clearance is much different from your T 500.

If not too worried about looks then try these www.wiggle.co.uk/zefal-swancroozer-road-mudguard-set/Got them for my singlespeed and are very good especially the rear one as rachet type bracket means nice and close to wheel and will fit pretty much anything. Only downside is no protection for chainset really. However v good for keeping you and anyone behind you dryer and cleaner. Front one surprisingly effective as well. Plus less than 9 quid

Hi, Just ridden from Edinburgh to London on my red Triban 3 shod with Vittoria Rubinho 25's.Bought Roadracer 2's in case of inclement weather, but as it happend, I only had 1 shower for 2 minutes all week. The back one fitted perfectly, you have to cut the front section but had no rubbing or rattling from it. The front one was more difficult, and I had to leave the front section off but they worked fine. You have to fiddle around a bit, and it does rattle a bit sometimes, but with a bit of patience, they will help keep you drier.
