Evening all, I know we all love a bargain here, so thought I'd share; Just picked up one of these tonight: www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/road-bikes/boardman-road-sport-limited-edition-blackFor the wife, in small, as all the women's bikes we looked at were over priced or she didn't like them. Cost £360 with Halfrauds current sale and promotion online and I have to say, for the price, I'm very impressed. -Carbon forks -internal brake cabling -Claris mechs -FSA bits and pieces -looks great Bottom bracket is obviously cheap as chips but easily upgradable when it wears out, same with the wheels. But for £360, it would be hard to beat. I'd never pay full price for it (£500) but pretty chuffed we got a decent deal! Before anyone mentions, I did try and sway her to join the B'Twin clan but she didn't like the look of any of the low end tribans

Mate of mine was going to pick one of these last weekend but changed his mind. Think it's a great looking machine and good value at the sale price, shame about the bar tape;-)

Good find. Boardman bikes are often discounted well, the CX team is down to £650 at the moment which is a proper steal. Shame they always have stupid stickers all over them "direct power transfer" and "active wishbone design" etc
It's a bit silly calling them halfrauds though, when you're shopping there and praising the value of the products.
