hi guys from 2015 sizing the only frame that goes max 63cm is 500
is this just a geometery glitch or do the other frames match up differently
being on the rather tall(ish) side at 6'8" (2.03m) with inside leg of 38" + and ageing back i need max frame size
so am i limited to 500 and 500se
or older T3 in a 63 if i can ever find one successfuly bid on one .
what are your thoughts

The other frames are allegedly for heights upto 6'6". A question for Deca or a test at Deca perhaps?

The mach 720 frame in 61 is really big - I got a 59 and I'm 6'3". Most of the other xl frames won't be big enough for you I reckon - the seatpost would have to be massive.

As the posts above, the sizing is different for the different models. As you've see from the size guide the '63' XXL 500 is the largest size stating up to 6'7" but the way the frame is measured makes it sound larger than it is. The XL size in the other models is only slightly smaller in fitting up to 6'6" and the 520 XL only has a 110mm stem as standard giving the possibility of fitting a longer one (the 500 XXL comes with a 130mm stem as standard). You don't say which model you might be interested in but I'd suggest visiting a store and trying some, I think with a change of stem and possibly seatpost you should be able to find a comfortable fit.

chas - is there a problem having such a long seatpost?

I don't think you'd need to go much further than the standard one if at all so provided you observe the minimum insert length then no. You see mtbs with much longer posts and it's no worse than putting a seatpost mounted carrier and a load of luggage on a shorter one?
