Tech question. New wheels and cassette arrived today (Shimano 501 and SRAM PG850 12-26) and have now fitted them.
Problem I have is that if I switch to the middle ring on the front and the biggest ring in the back, the chain slightly rubs on the spokes.
Anyone had this issue? Should I need a spacer?

Never heard of a chain rubbing on spokes but certainly the derailleur cage. Are you sure the chain is hitting the spokes? If its the derailleur instead then you need to adjust the indexing on your rear derailleur and in particular the low limit stop so it only comes over as far as necessary.

Just checked and it is actually the inside of the bolt on the rear mech wheel (small wheel nearest the cassette)

I had the same issue when I switched to 501's on my T3. A small tweak of the limit screw and it was all sorted.

Also worth checking your rear mech hanger isn't bent inwards - even slightly out of whack can cause this.
