Hi All, Is there any place in London that you can recommend who provide a full end to end bike fit service. Something like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hteUPJjL32oI will be enduring a long ride next month and would like to go ahead and be in the best position for my dynamics. Thanks J

I had a standard bikefit from Sandro @ On Your Bike London (London bridge) - certainly well worth it and he was really patient

I had a fit done at Cadence Performance at Crystal Palace a few months ago. It made a big difference to comfort, but if they do make substantial changes make sure you leave yourself enough time to get used to the position before your long ride. My fitter recommended no long rides for 2-3 weeks, but I stupidly did a 100 miler a week later and hurt lots for another week after that.

Whereabouts in London are you?
If you're in SW London, I believe Specialized Concept Store in Kingston does them. Plus Sigma Sport in nearby Hampton Wick.
I have no experience with either though.

I will be enduring a long ride next month and would like to go ahead and be in the best position for my dynamics. I can't help with a biek fit in London - but are you uncoormatable with your current fit? Any change in bike fit/setup will feel a little stange at first (possibly even uncomfortable), even if the change in bike-fit will, in the long term, be more beneficial. So be wary or making any significant changes in your bike fit - just before you do a big ride/race/event. You want to be sure the new fit/setup is right for you and to allow you time to get comfortable with it.

Thanks guys. Windymiller - How much did it cost and how long did it take ? Off the top of my head about 60UKP and maybe an hour or so, it was a basic fit - but he took his time and whilst it wasn't a fancy retul system (computer 3d capture biomechanical system) I personally felt the chap A) Knew what he was talking about B) Wasn't going to screw up my already dodgy knees and C) listened to what I wanted and took that into account. Result of all that was I got a good service, I would go back again to see him and my aches and pains all went away
