I have to agree, I have bought a few bits from alpkit in the past. You can't go wrong.

I can't figure out for myself how quickly it would work... strikes me it would be very slow... but could be really good for touring etc, where you could get pinhole punctures/small leaks and at least have enough pressure to get to a better place to fix the hole.
I guess if the weight penalty is small, could be viable in races too, protecting from late punctures.

Whilst doing the washing up this evening, I was listening to Radio 4 and the Last Word obituary programme came on. The first person remembered was the Irish cyclist "Iron Man" Mick Murphy. No, I hadn't heard of him either. If only a fraction of the things they say about him are true, he's a quite interesting chap. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b06s1b92

If anyone's interested, there's a radio documentary from RTE here: www.rte.ie/radio1/doconone/2009/0605/646409-convict/

Sorry to be so negative, but imo he invalidates most of the article in the first sentence. If you aren't interested in science and data, a power meter providing data to use alongside scientific knowledge likely is never going to be for you.

Yeah what does he know, only rides 12,000 miles a year these days, been riding for decades, handing out the podium prizes at the Tour of Britain the last time I met him .
