Hi everyone!!
I have a Triban 3 red and I am in the process of changing the chain. I have read that if you are changing the chain it is good practise to change the rear cassette also. Can anyone suggest a good cassette to change to? Ideally I want to try and keep the same as what was on there but if anyone can suggest a good alternative then I will gladly consider it. By the way if it is any help I the chain I am buying is a KMC X8-99 116L Silver Bike Chain - 8 Speed.
Thanks for you help in advance.
Cheers Ant

The KMC chain will match up with Sram or Shimano 8 speed both readily available.

SRAM PG850 is a good cassette for cheap money, Im currently on a 11-28 version and would recommend to anyone.

whats the teeth ratio spread on that cassette?
Been thinking about buying a 11t bottom gog for my current 12-25 cassette, then repacking - to give it a bit more stretch as the 500se's top chainring is a 50

I found an 11-26 I have on the steel steed (which runs the old T3 gearing). If you don't need the 25, 11-23s are around too, if I was keeping the T3 for TTs, that would ahve gained that soon.

What rocket says, running a triple 10s I can basically go whatever speed at whatever cadence I fancy. Getting strong enough now to be thinking a 52/3 ring maybe worth it though as I do occasionally spin out the 50-11.
