Right so I have to find a Specialize store - hope Birmingham has one as there isn't any in Wolverhampton. nah. just think of all the fun you and the missus could have with magic marker and a pair of calipers.

Could be tilt - could also be setback on the saddle.Have you checked to see if your saddle is in the correct fore/aft position ? This seems to be the case. I think I have the saddle too far back. I'm positioned on the bike correctly, but the saddle doesn't match where my bum is. When I hitch back a bit onto the saddle I'm seated correctly, but not in the right place relative to the pedals. Thank you for your link about the Bodygeometry Saddles which explained it for me. I never actually knew where the 'sit bone' was, and it appears I've been riding more on the barse. You say you are positioned correctly - I assume you mean comfortably with the amount of reach to the bars. When you hitch back on to the saddle - is the new position correct for knee position to the pedals ? YES - then your stem is too long - it needs shortening to reduce the reach you now have to the bars. NO - Move the seat to the correct position for your knee/pedal measurement - then change stem if required for correct reach.

NO - Move the seat to the correct position for your knee/pedal measurement - then change stem if required for correct reach. This one. I'm right on the bike, and the stem is fine. I've read somewhere that as you sit with your hands on the hoods you should not be able to see the hub of the front wheel because the handle bars eclipse the view. That's what I get. It's only a couple of centimetres movement of the seat that's required I think. I'll move things round a bit at a time until it comes right, one parameter at a time.

I used my new charge spoon when on my turbo last week and found it very hard, wasn'tt any more comfortable than my standard grey T5 saddle, was hoping for better. Maybe on the road I won't notice it so much!
