My little brothers bmx from Santa. Check out that front brake and fork. How can somebody working at a bike shop be that incompetent? imgur.com/SbEAzyV

Epic fail. You won't be the only one. I once sorted out our local paperboys bike which had been assembled in the same manner. He wouldn't say by who though.

An easy fix but I think I'll bring it back. Foot rubbing on front wheel when pedalling.

I put my 2yr old first bike together on 23rd Dec. From Halford and front bearings were so tight that the wheel would not turn. I don't mean wouldn't spin easily but actually not turn at all! I had to force the wheel to move round! Luckily I had cone spanners and took 10 min to strip, re grease and properly tighten bearings so spin lovely BUT for someone not used to bikes they would have been stuffed! Rubbish really.
On plus side was great setting it all up nice for him and pushing him up the street this morning!

The shifters on my boys new Boardman Junior Sport road bike are rattling there head off. Oh and I needed to index the rear gears as well.
