Thanks @davefy7, i did have a google about and noticed they seem to be in short supply. any thoughts on the standard version form Deca, it's just i've got a £45 voucher to use. I think the coverage is limited meaning that you will get wet feet and a lot of spray behind which will not be appreciated on group rides. Probably best reading up on the user reviews if you are interested in them.

Thanks for comments, went for the Cruds Roadracer MK2s in the end they arrived today and I fitted them in under an hour. Didn't need to modify them in any way, they look pretty stylish and don't have any problems with rubs. They feel pretty substantial but obviously only time will tell. Very impressed with Wiggle, they arrived within two days post free for under £20

Just so people know, The SKS Raceblade-long have been discontinued subject to sks redesigning them and then re-releasing, this is why they are in short supply. I got an email from SKS saying this so its not hearsay. I saw they had vanished from the official website so I emailed them to ask.
I have 650 wheels, and as such the choice of removable lightweight mudguards is zero, but the raceblade-longs are pretty much the only ones that can be fettled and butchered to fit, so I was worried that the eventual redesign might not be as easy to butcher for 650 wheels so I panic-bought and now own some great mudguards for my 650 wheels.
I have heard they can end up cracked and brittle, so hope I dont break em. But other than that worry, so far they work excellent, are lightweight, look great, clip on/off in seconds and look good too for mudguards. The butchering was fairly easy too for 650s.
So I put a vote in for sks raceblade long... but point out to anyone reading that at the moment they are not being produced.
