Hi haven't rode my T7 through the winter months yet. I could do with a decent set of long mudguards to keep the crud down. Any suggestions would be useful.

I fitted SKS Race Blade Long on my T3, then added another butchered piece at back of down tube using cable ties, works ok.

I have fitted crud roadracer mkII with 25 conti gatorskins on my T7, I spent quite a while getting them just right, with minimal rubbing. I haven't been out for a ride with them yet but hoping they will be ok.

Cruds. A little fiddly but keep a lot of the crap off.

I have a T7 and run raceblade longs with 23 tyres. It's perfect and I made the mistake of taking them off on Monday thinking the country lanes might be a bit drier!

I think most people on here use either Cruds or raceblade longs. I went from Cruds to Raceblade longs and prefer the Raceblades as in my opinion they are a bit more solid and less rattly. It's down to personal choice. I use 700 x 23 tyres with mudguards due to the poor clearance on the Triban. Some use 25's without a problem so I might try them out. On muddy winter roads they can get clogged up with dirt on country roards in between the mudguards and the fork/frame/fittings and also clog up with grit on newly surfaced roads.

Fair comment on the clogging up daveFY7 I run on 25's and it's only been a problem the once, farm mud between tire and guard. I've re-fitted a couple of weeks ago and am now more aware so check condition when cleaning keeps build up at bay...well fingers crossed...

I might just switch to the 25's then when my 23's wear out and keep an eye on things.

Great to read someone is successfully using 25's + raceblades on a T3 with no problems. I was considering 25's for my next tyres but was concerned about clearance.
