There is a thread in the clothing and helmets section however doesn't get as much attention as this place!
I've been struggling with the DHB bibs as they are too uncomfortable the pad moves all over shop and does my head in.
I ordered some decathlon xc 700's and they seem to be great, however the fit is pretty tight around my arse and hips...legs are fine, digs in a bit at shoulders but thats what bibs should do as they fit better on the bike position then.
However is this how bibs are meant to fit? the DHB's are really loose in comparison, and I am just wondering if I have too small a size or this is just a much tigher better fit than the DHB?
I can squat in them and it's all good, just don't know whether to send them back to get a bigger size, or keep them and see how they go?
I've gotta return some gloves anyway that are too small, unless someone wants to buy some medium decathlon 700 winter gloves?!?!
Anyhow any help appreciated!

Shorts should be tighter than you think! - once they are tight then the pad will not be able to shift around.

Rule of thumb says if they fit your leg then they should fit everywhere else. Everybody is different though. There should be some resistance from the shoulder straps but nothing uncomfortable.
I've struck lucky with DHB Aeron Pros fitting me all over but other people need to get through a few pairs before finding their match.

Yeah they are the uncomfortable just feel very tight compared to the dhbs
Maybe it's because the dhbs are such a bad fit and that's why I'm always so sore!!

The straps are there to hold the pad in place. There will be a bit of stretch over the first few wears and washes to consider as well.

I decided to wear the bibs today on my commute...wow why have I not had a pair of gel bibs before? These knock the DHB's out of the water big time!! Although the leg grippers aren't that grippy and had a bit of rising!
I like them so much so I'm considering buying another pair right now! Especially since they are Β£23 quid at the moment instead of Β£40! Not sure whether to get a bigger size though...!!
