That Lidl logo just spoils what is otherwise a very good looking bit of kit.

Yep, lad and I were laughing at the Lidl arse logo last night but I guess that's what sponsorship is all about. By the end of the season we won't even think about it.

I don't see the problem. Most of us on here have ridden in Lidl kit. I've rode for team Lidl (and ALDI) for my entire cycling career. It was good enough for KOM bashing last night. Do we have brand snobs? @davefy7 just put your panniers on your Giant TCX next time you go to Lidl for a shop and you will be a proper fanboy

There's a difference between wearing vfm but good quality kit and having a massive grocery shop logo on your arse.

I think it's just we recognise Lidl, I'm sure there have been worse companies/products on shorts over the years we're just not familiar with them in this country.

Would a Waitrose logo be acceptable like the England cricket kit?!

At least it's not Tesco, or we'd have to open the cheat debate again, personally I'd have preferred Aldi, as Britain's no. 1 grocery merchandiser . Most often the name is 'designed' to complement the kit, whereas this one appears blatantly the same as the shop sign, no concession to context, I mean, here we have that well considered subtle combination of bright yellow on dark blue, perhaps workable in the right proportions though mind you, it's not like it's simply been slapped onto Kittel's substantial gluteal area and maxed out without seriously considering the visual impact or anything. ... but then again, each to their own, besides, what the hell do I know about design, it's not like it's my job or anything . The sleeve one is a little less in your face, I'll give them that.

... and yep, before some bright spark feels the urge to point it out, I realise that both Aldi and Lidl originated in Germany.

All I can say is I bet Cav is so glad he has f**ked off to another team. Designer Oakley Jawbreaker sunglasses and a Lidl logo stamped on your arse. What a combination.
