Last night I watched 'Slaying The Badger'. This morning I clocked my fastest ever ride to work. There are no coincidences.
As an aside, would definitely recommend the documentary - it sometimes comes across a bit "American hero vs Sneaky Frenchman" but it's a fascinating insight into the politics of team cycling.

I also found it fascinating, especially the huge contrast between the ueber confident Hinault and the young, nervous and insecure Lemond. The sheer astonishment on Lemond's face face during the press conference after the hand-in-hand run up to the finish on Alpe d'Huez was amazing.
