Hmm, might take a look at the bib tights. One pair of my MuddyFox shorts split a seam today so perhaps I should take the hint. Still not ready to plonk down a lot of cash on a really good pair (need to get to goal weight/size first) so another set of cheap things will do the job for now.

Once again they won't stock small size. Grrr.

Bib tights look like a good deal. I'd be worried that they're bit thin if only a tenner. Having said that, I've always found the Aldi stuff great value, and I presume the supplier is the same.

The tights/bib shorts have my interest, but figuring out what size I am in mens is always a difficult task!
I've been waiting for the Lidl/Aldi deals to cover my first real winter cycling attempt.

I can recommend the pump if anyone needs one. I picked one up the last time they were in stock and it works great. Only slight downside is the fitting for schrader is a very tight and I could see it breaking after prolonged use. No problems with the Presta fitting which I expect most of us here would use the most.

wish I'd seen this earlier.. I can go for hours cycling round my way, hardly ever seeing another cyclist... yet the day after these went into store, every last bit of the clothing has gone lol... who wears it lol?

I picked up the Β£4.99 pump today, bargain, I almost felt guilty as to the cheapness!

I've seen people buying armfuls of the stuff. You just know they're going to be knocking it all out on eBay . Bought the tights. Like the Aldi ones before the pad felt like it was in the wrong place. Taken back after work tonight.

Managed to get to Lidl today and pick over what was left. Got a pair of the tights, a top and a pump. Thought I'd try them out to see what they are like at that price.

I've had the tights from Lidl in the past, albeit they were 'winter' type bib tights. They're ok for the money for a short commute but not good for rides of any decent distance.

I picked up a couple of the red jerseys and bibs today for which I had to nip into 3 different stores but got what I wanted for my commute over winter. Every shop I went in seemed to have lots of the black long sleeved and the short sleeved jerseys left and the odd bib set. The bibs to me feel pretty thick and felt plenty warm enough. The only problem is the padding is pretty thin compaired to other stuff ive had so wouldnt fancy wearing them on any long rides, for the money though they are well worth it.
