The rubber bits are inserts to put between the shifter lever and the body of the shifter to reduce the distance between the the lever and the handlebars. This is helpful for people with smallish hands like myself. They are a bit fiddly to fit and you need to remove the small rubber piece that's factory fitted.

They change the reach of the levers by holding them away from the top stop.
On the back of each one there will be 4ºL, 4ºR, 8ºR & 8ºL
They fit in the top of the brake lever - just under the hood - there is a small rubber buffer they replace
EDIT - phred1812 beat me to it.

As phredo says - they will reduce the reach to your levers (a bit)! I really needed these as my hands are smaller but had to send away and PAY for mine!! Also........they were a nightmare to track down and only one bike shop seemed to stock them. I didn't get the cd either-but suspect this is probably less useful. w

It's an extra reflector, thread it into your front spokes.

I had to have them fitted to my 51 inch frame as I'm only 5foot 1 when I bought the bike. Make sure they're fitted correctly my left hand one rattled and had to be fixed with a bit of tape. Makes a big difference for me.

I also needed those. I just took the bike back into Decathlon and they sorted it for me. I had e-mailed before asking about them and they just said take it in. Made a bit of difference for me.

I e-mailed Decathlon because I didn't have the CD or inserts with my 5A - though the 4º ones were in the brifters already, I wanted 8º. They sent me out an identical set of 4º ones and a set of 8º ones for presumably a different type of brifter; they don't have quite the same lugs and don't fit.
Presumably an 8º set does exist which will fit with the 2013 Sora brifters?

When I stacked it a couple of weeks back I scratched tha top part of my hoods on the Soras. Does anyone have an idea where I can get the tops and clear plastic bit.
Thanks
