Just read that Wiggo is buying a house near Wrea Green, not too far away from me and on my routes sometimes. His kids have moved schools to Kirkham Grammar.

Ask him if he fancies going for a spin on the bike Dave. You never know, you might just have a new cycling partner!

Ask him if he fancies going for a spin on the bike Dave. You never know, you might just have a new cycling partner! I don't think he'd get very far along Blackpool prom before getting dragged off his bike and hero worshipped, redleader. I very nearly got his cap after the Tour of Britain stage when it finished there. He winged it into the crowd but the bloke next to my misses caught it.

I went through Wrea Green a few weeks back on route to AFC Fylde's ground. Can see why Wiggo wants to move there, a lovely place. We know the Fylde manager and his wife and kids so went to watch their playoff game vs Ashton. It was the first match we'd taken out girls to and they loved it. The game went to penalties, with the Fylde keeper scoring the decisive spot kick. My girls now think all games are that exciting

I took a game in a couple of seasons ago, Al. Nice little ground but they now have planning permission for a brand new stadium and sports complex close to the M55 Junction at Kirkham.

Yeah the plans look good, with good access from the motorway. Think the pub near the old ground will suffer though but I think they are planning to keep that as a training pitch.
