I wish I'd known about this forum sooner, but .....
I realise this is the wrong place to post and blatantly against the rules as I'm a new member on here (with no history!), but as I'm looking to sell my Triban 3 Red which as hardly been used, I figured you guys may be interested. Unfortunately, there's no chance I can generate the 50+ posts required to post in the 'for sale' section, but whilst I await being slapped/shot-down/banned by the forum moderators, hopefully this may be of use to someone - or better still, unlike so many other power-hungry forum mods, you guys may be nice and move this to the for sale section! (hint-hint!)
Also, apologies that this is a shameless direct copy-paste from my advert over on BikeRadar.
I've decided that road-biking's not really for me and that I prefer off-road cycling. Consequently, having hardly used it, I'm selling my B'TWIN Triban 3 Red so I can put the money towards a hardtail MTB.
This bike has hardly been used. It has covered a total of 93 miles, with a riding time of 8 and half hours. This can be seen from the photo of the cycle computer (which was purchased and fitted at the same time as the bike). The cycle computer is NOT included in the sale though. I should think I've only actually ridden this bike at most, 10 times in total (probably less!), in almost 2 years!
It is pretty much immaculate, except for one tiny little mark which is barely visible on frame top tube, that I found after I got the bike home from the shop - and I'm being fussy here. If it hadn't been a 140 mile round-trip to my nearest Decathlon store, I'd have returned it for a swap. See pictures for up-close photo of the mark - I struggled to even get the camera to focus on it. Other than that, the bike is immaculate, has only been used during summer months, has never been ridden in the rain, and has been stored inside (in a heated flat, no-less - not even a cold/damp garage!).
I have the original welcome pack (instruction CD) and the the receipt from Decathlon which is dated 27/08/12, from when I originally bought the bike, which includes the serial number.
Also included will be a set of Crud RoadRacer MK2 mud-guards. I fitted these, with the intention of being able to use the bike over winter, but did not go out on it once! They are no-longer fitted to the bike, but will be included for the new owner to re-fit if they wish to.
Β£265 SOLD.
Collected from Willingham, Cambridge.
