Went for a forty mile ride and when I got back my turbo trainer had arrived. All set up in the shed with mp3 player and kindle fire for utube watching and have fitted a spare odometer to the rear wheel, so come on rain and wind I'm still going to ride!

Was just thinking today about getting a turbo trainer as the weather has been so wet and windy. Hope you enjoy it.

If anyone wants a copy of the interval program (on excel) that I'm following which is based on wattage output let me know. A proper good workout/sweat feast but does need a turbo that measures watts. I've created a spotify playlist especially for my sessions to keep me going.

You can't beat a bit of telly when you're on static riding, it's boring otherwise, even music isn't enough.

Personally I can't watch telly on my sessions, head down for pretty much 90% of the time to stop the sweat going into my eyes. Fast up-tempo tunes, concentration on the numbers from the turbo, wiping sweat off brow/neck/arms, hydrating and eating gets me through. I can go for ~1.5hr without getting to bored
