We both went down to Oxford store yesterday to look at the new range of bikes or rather what they had! We live about halfway between Oxford and Coventry so thought we would look at the newest store. Unfortunately oxford seems about half the size of the Coventry store and this reflects in the lines that they carry. The B'TWIN BTWIN MACH 720 ROAD BIKE looks like a piece of art and was as light as a feather I loved it but would never buy it, that Matt grey/black finish is awful (IMO ) I just don't understand it, now if it was in gloss white or dare I say it T3 Red, well that's a different kettle of fish all together. They had loads of T3a and the fit ones, but only one T5. Planning next trip to Coventry where the staff leave you to browse in peace, unlike the over eager well meaning staff at Oxford. Sadly for me we crossed the road and spent Β£1200 on two new Sofas.

Horses for courses, I quite like the stealth neutral thing, allows you to let the kit flourish any direction you like. I was tempted to test the 70% off thing but had too much work on. New store, staff bound to be a touch overly enthusiastic I guess.

... sofas, I'd be looking at them and seeing a new bike forever more?

I was going to head down today, but weather too nice and kids swimming & cricket gets in the way. Now planning going to on Tuesday morning. Shopping list includes: - Bib shorts - Tyres & tubes - Shoes - Maybe cage and tool bottle - Maybe a jersey or jacket Suddenly makes my Β£10 opening and Β£5 loyalty vouchers look a little inadequate!

I'm not too keen on the matt carbon finish. A friend has just bought a Planet X N2A. He was saying its so hard to get looking good, he seems to have a permanent fingerprint on the top tube.
At least with gloss you can give it a good wipe down.
