Don't do apologies - the T5a will be just as fast if you take the seat clamp out the spacer stack and remove the speed limit screw from the hubs . Or just paint it red. But I'll remember your tips when I'm driving down the A38.

You wouldn't be driving about trying to intimidate cyclists now would you NMH? ...you've got previous on these confrontational issues remember ? Seriously though, you should start riding down the A38, walk the walk, rule #5 it; when you do get a bike we'll get you out and about in the locality, strikes me it's time you stopped faffing and got on with it ! Feeling more like Spring every day, I'd be out this evening if I wasn't at the Velodrome - dry in the morning as well ... Daffodils out all over the place, Halcyon days are on the way.

Was out commuting on the MTB on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Just looking at the cycle to work scheme, Decathlon card, thinking about 500 when it comes out, Oxford opening and lots of other things. Might pop up to Wednesbury tomorrow or might go for a ride on the Bristol/Bath path instead.

Gave me some laughs and naively thought halfway through that they were going somewhere good with it.
You know the odd numbnut is going to really lap it up though. Like the two women's profiles I came accross on that Plenty Of Fish today, who listed on their dislikes 'Cyclists'.

I don't watch Top Gear normally. My kids recorded it, so I watched it just now. I now understand the quips about toothpaste and why I don't watch Top Gear. I still don't like buses!

I finally got around to watching it this evening. I actually thought that it was quite sympathetic to cyclists - the buses bit was spot-on (in my experience, although I am sure it is worse in London).
The advert at the end was actually quite good, in an irreverent sort of way.
