Hi, Not sure if is right place on forum for this topic, please move if is not. : ) I try convince myself to road bike [ being MTBer since always ] and recently I went to my local Dechatlon to try out T5a as a possible purchase choice as I prefer try before buy , especially when we talk about bikes. The other one is Boardman but 2nd hand. Anyway...because I felt little bit strange on road bike I took some photos to compare with position on my mtb. It was like 'low flying aircraft ' ,bike seems be really low and small - compare to mtb. done few ' laps ' in store on bike and still dont know really, I m more into 60cm frame. So here is my small request to all of you who ride these bikes, could give me an idea if my position was all right on this bike and everything what I felt was normal ? on this bike set up I felt that handlebar/hoods are too low [as you can see on pic - felt more weight on my wrists ] but I think is a matter of setup , isn;t ? Frame- 60cmHoods:Drops:thanks

That bike is simply too small for you.

For starters the saddle needs to go up a fair bit to get a better idea of fit. Looks like handle bars need to go down and forward, so you probably need a bigger frame. How tall are you?
On another note, Decathlon have those handlebars tilted too far forward.

I was expecting you to say you were taller than that. I'm 6'1" (1.85m) and I've got a 60cm T5a. Don't think the 5a comes in a larger size than 60cm.

im 6ft2 and have 60cm frame on my t3. Hard to tell anything until saddle height and position sorted.

Same inside leg measurement as me. I think in that case it's a matter of getting the saddle height correct and rotating the bars back slightly in the stem.

Trying to ride it like a MTB, bin that mind set or bin idea of road bike IMO. Saddle up, slide it back a bit in the process, twist bars up a bit, to really make it work, push shifters forward round bars (can't do this without new bar tape though) and that bike will look massive !

When your sat on the bike with the pedal at the bottom your heel should sit on the pedal and your leg should be straight

As above in the comments about saddle hieght, there's no way you should be able to get your foot flat on the floor like that.
